Can’t Edit Calc Docs

Ever since Microsoft switched to that stupid subscription model, I’ve been boycotting Microsoft for personal use. Work is work, nothing I can do about that. However, my alma matar finally revoked Microsoft licenses for all alumni, revoking our access. See, Excel doesn’t let you save to iCloud, and iCloud doesn’t let you edit Excel documents. So I switched to LibreOffice for both of these reasons. I hoped that I could update my personal finance budget sheet on my phone, so I didn’t have to remember to do so once I get home. However, I cannot add a new row in my now Calc budget document. I can go back and edit preexisting rows? It does let you save to iCloud. Hence two stars instead of one. Please fix the inability to add new rows in Calc documents. Thanks!

Scam!

I was in desperate need of a document read and editor for my new iPad. As I really needed to be able to edit work with out a laptop so my toddler doesn’t yank on the cord and potentially drag my laptop off on to the floor or to her head.My husband saw LibreOffice Reader and Editing. We read through and it said read and fix documents.So I paid the 4.99. As soon as I paid for it it suddenly comes up as LibreOffice Document reader Lite. And NO you can not edit documents.They are a scam stay away!

Bad app

Doesn’t ask for your permission to copy of the files from the Apple Files app. Some will be crossed at every line when you open them there

Unable to edit the most simple spreadsheet

Found the edit feature, can change a number, but then saving it copies the number across the whole row. Sadly, only good for read only…

Hi, Application claims that there is a way to edit odt files. Didn’t find this feature. Is there any kind of manual to understand how it works? Thank you

As soon as I saw an ad on the top when viewing a pdf file and that there was no way to pay to remove them I immediately uninstalled the app.

Zip file

I created an invoice as an ods on my desktop using Libre CALC. I sent that file to my iPad through drop box. It became a zip file of only 70 or so KB which means it’s basically a pdf. When I was finally able to figure out how to unzip the file I found out I couldn’t enter any data into it.I only need to put a few numbers into a few cells to calculate the total charge for the customer once I have finished the job and while I am still at the job site. Doesn’t look like this can happen.

Page breaks don't work

Needed to print a formatted document, but the app reflows the text and doesn't respect page breaks, so looking for something else.

Useless

Totally useless app. Don’t waste your time or money. Saw this on the Today show and it seemed like a great app. But can’t edit an excel spreadsheet and when I transferred it into this app most of it was garbled. Useless
