AWESOME GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!! I LEARNED SOOOOO MUCH!!

So I got the game to learn Japanese and in the past months i learned soooooooooooooo much. I needed to get the app because me and my family are moving to japan. I had the opportunity to play games and show off skills with other players. This app expanded my mind. I personally am obsessed with the game. Whenever I get on my iPhone I go directly to this awesome game lingo. Thank you to all the people that made the game lingo 😃. I can just kiss u.😘 thank you for your time. Straight to the point!

Wow! I just opened this app for the first time, signed up as a beginner (I can read Hebrew letters, but know little vocab) and it got straight to the point of teaching words using the Hebrew alphabet, and then testing recall in ways that really help imprint it into the brain! It provides Roman alphabet transliteration, and audio pronunciations are provided by a very native sounding Hebrew voice. I think if you dedicated some time to this, some learning could happen! I like a language app that doesn’t treat me like a toddler.

Absolutely Fantastic for Learning Another Script

TL;DR - I used it to learn how to read and write the Arabic script and for that alone it deserves 5 stars. No other language app compares in that area.I used this app while learning Arabic and while it wasn’t the best app for learning the vocab and grammar, it is by FAR the best app for learning the Arabic script and how words are formed and pronounced and how the letters change depending on their location within the words. I absolutely recommend this to anyone who wants to learn a language that uses a different script. I’m also learning Russian though I haven’t tried it on this app yet, but I’m sure it’s just as helpful.

Hebrew

First off I loved the app. It was so cool to compete against people around the world. And I loved the whole layout of lessons and test. I’m writing this review because I want you to improve your app because I think it has so much potential. Unfortunately the Hebrew grammar and translations are wrong about 1/15 times. Even as a beginner in Hebrew I could tell it was really bad. I asked my husband who is a native speaker for the actual definitions of words and the app was waaaay off the mark. Also the voice does not pronounce the Hebrew words correctly. So unfortunately I had to unsubscribe. Please fix the Hebrew! And I’m happy to pay for this app. I think it’s great.

RIP OFF!!!

The app itself is fun when it works. However, if you get logged off and you have to sign back in, the app will not recognize the user account. I’ve had to create two subscribe twice now because of this issue. In the latest attempt, I’ve tried to log in using my Apple email and it gives me an error saying it doesn’t recognize the user– despite having purchased a year subscription. I tried to log in through the app maker’s website and it just hangs when I enter the credentials. I’ve sent two emails to the app maker and have not received a response yet. I even reached out to Apple and they are not offering to help either. The customer service for this app is ATROCIOUS. In general, this app is a RIP OFF!!!

Errors, errors, and more errors

You have a good system here but there are wayyy too many vocabulary errors for you to be charging the money I pay. I am using this app to learn/reinforce Greek vocabulary but much of the vocabulary has a horrible (confusing) translation choice and/or they aren’t presented in singular nominative (how they are listed in dictionaries). My question is who inputs the words and how do you aggregate the vocabulary? What I’m gathering is that it is not a Greek speaker and probably more automated. You need to make the vocabulary user-editable. Present the lists as a preset but allow us to fix the mistakes we know are wrong. I look forward to your response and hopefully more accurate vocabulary.

Makes learning languages so much easier.

I'm so impressed with this app. Learning new languages has become such a piece of cake. This app makes it so fun and it has actual lessons where you can learn from, thereafter you can play an online game versing someone else learning the same language. It's so amazing and has increased my Spanish skills by heaps and bounds. Plus it's so easy to use. I've not used a language learning app as good as this one. Definitely a must download!

Honest feedback

The app well designed and worth the time to use it as learning opportunity however most of the services being provided by app charge the user among 35 sections only 1 section of flashcards is free the rest are premium. Obviously that the app need to charge to benefit from offering such great app having at least 2 sections free and the rest is premium would be better or as incremental of section from time to time more free content to added along to premium content with ratio in favor to premium like 3:1 premium to freemium

Loving the challenge!

So far I love almost everything about this app. The only thing I don’t like is that sometimes the completion percentage changes. For instance, yesterday my Lesson 1 showed 100% completed, but today it shows 80%. Is this because of an update? Should I go back and see if a new word was added? I guess if this is the case, it would be nice to know which units are updated and what has been added to them. (Perhaps just a simple notification like “a new word was added to Lesson 1.1” would be helpful - and not drive us OCD people insane 😆). #goingforallAplusesWell worth the monthly membership. Honestly, I might even pay more. You can’t find a more comprehensive teaching tool for $30 a month anywhere. Well done!

Love the app, I don’t like the offer for a free month that is not really true

It seems like a really good app, I’m a little hesitant about the price though because I can get Duolingo for less than half the price so I wanted to try the one month free. When I went to take advantage of the promotion it attempted to charge my card the full $30 for the month. So that’s not a free month if that happens. That’s a paid for month. So I’ll never get to try it out the other way, I’m sure it’s fine but I’ll keep doing what I can for free since I can’t test it out
