Concise and informative!

Easy to learn the absolute necessaries... thanks for making this. The frustrating thing is that the developers force you to go through social media routes to open subsequent chapters...not everyone uses popular social media platforms. This is a bust for me. I don't have twitter (for example) and don't plan on opening an account there ever...so this is as far as I go.

Great App, Some Fixable Bugs

This app is teaching me so much about coding with C++. There are indeed bugs to be fixed but not many. Sometimes the challenge messages telling you that you are correct can sometimes say "Great Job! You can" and nothing else after that. I don't personally mind it. Another is a big issue with typing strings. Apple has set your keyboard to default to "Smart Punctuation" which changes your quotations. You need to go to Settings>General>Keyboard and turn it off to be able to type strings. In other words, this app is very helpful and I totally recommend it, it would just be nice if the developers fixed these few bugs.

Decent App, frustrating oversights

for someone experienced with coding, the app is very usable for learning the syntax of c++, but there is a significant amount of missing characters or small mistakes that make certain lessons hard to understand and complete, which would have left me incredibly confused if not for previous experience

Idk if I’m doing it wrong or its a bug

On the very first lesson, just typing “Hi”. Ive entered multiple times exactly how it shows to do it in the hints and it wont accept the input as a correct input. On the 4th lesson it does the same. Tells you exactly what text to enter in the hint, When I do so it still deems it as incorrect. So I’m not sure if this is user error or a bug in the system. After using the app more I have definitely begun to learn some of it and have progressed. But it seems that just about any lesson, where I have to type something in quotes, fill not be able to be input correctly. Overall it is a fun and useful app!

Great App

Overall I would say this app is useful for very basic concepts; I would really like to see more chapters that include classes, polymorphism, recursion, inheritance, dynamic memory, vectors, and maps, etc. Also, sometimes the app doesn’t recognize your input; for example I typed cout << “I love C++”; and it didn’t work so I looked at the hint which said the answer is cout << “I love C++”; exactly the same. That aside, I do recommend this app.

Very Good Beginner Education App

I just started this app about 10 minutes ago and it is absolutely great. The lessons are helpful in learning what c++ is and introduces good programming practices and conventions early on. One thing though, it does seem to be finicky in how you type the lines for example i could type "cout << "Hi, I am " << age << endl;" but it would say that was wrong. To fix this, you simply remove the space between the last "<<" and "endl;" and it would work. But, this is a very, very small thing. If it were possible, I would give 4.99 stars.

Beginner at programming

I’ve always been interested in the workings of computers and programming.. I stumbled across this app and had some good reviews and stated it was really step by step learning and really was taught well to a manner a person with no experience could actually learn something from it and this app has started to teach me some of what I’m wanting to get out of it, I’m only a little way into it and starting to get the hang of it a little... I hope by the end of this app or maybe a few redos of the app i will actually be able to start to write something of my own and start making little programs. Thanks for the great app and keep up the good work and hope to be doing this for a living one day in the future!!👍🏻✌️🤞🤞👋🙏

Multiple rating requests are annoying

I like the app itself as it is helpful in learning C++, so I purchased it. At one point it had asked me to rate it before it would let me move forward. I was okay with that at the time as I was still using the free part of the app, so I rated it. Now, after I purchased it, It is insisting once again that I rate the app and won't let me move forward even after I rated it a second time. I have yet to find a way to move past this. Definitely not happy.

Took a bit to figure out

So, all in all the app is decent. One issue that I noticed was that I was getting an error when entering strings when it requested them. Turns out that the Smart Punctuation needs to be turned off (Settings>General>Keyboard). Once this is done you'll be able to enter double quotes without getting the red exclamation. It'd be great if the developer fixed and updated this issue.

I’m learning

It’s tough going from one career path to another I.e from a heavy diesel mechanic to IT. I researched it as best I could and found that C++ is pretty close to DOS which is something I played with in high school a lot. Anyway, what I’m getting at is this app is very helpful and informative and has helped me understand this language a little bit more but it’s been almost 20yrs since I sat in front of a screen and did anything like this. The reason for only four stars is that it is kind of buggy but it still is helpful just the same.
