Can’t live without it

That about says it all. This app has saved me hours of time fussing with iCloud, One Drive, DropBox, etc. Also helps me sleep better since I am not worrying about work tasks left undone, or which version of a file I was working on. I travel a lot and seriously, could not live without GoToMyPC.

Pretty good but needs more options & to be optimized

Overall this works well but it’s all rather cramped on my 10.2 in iPad . It does work with 3rd party mouse and my keyboard case but the screen needs to be better optimized. I don’t need so much stuff on the screen at one time. I don’t need keyboard or keyboard short cuts on the screen at all times. Just give me some ways to hide operating stuff as I need it. Mouse support works but I don’t need this huge mouse icon on screen all the time. Overall it does work and it works well but it should be better. If I am in a pinch I can use my iPad to work from home but I much rather be on my iMac because that version looks and operates cleaner .

Does Not Work Well With iPad Pro Magic Keyboard w/Trackpad

This app is a bit sketchy when running on the iPad Pro with the recent Apple magic keyboard (the one that includes the trackpad). It does not recognize the trackpad very well within the emulated session and when it does, it often takes many clicks and is not very precise. In addition, the app often crashes when I turn on the keyboard in the app. My first thought is why do I need the onscreen keyboard? I have a case and trackpad right in front of me. However, the app will not always recognize the keyboard and needs to have the emulated keyboard running as well, that is if you can activate it without the crash of the app. I have found the above behavior with a Windows 10 host as well as a Mac OS Catalina host. I have not tried the app with another PC or mac as the remote connection so I cannot speak to that. However, I purchased the service for two machines ($80ish per month) with the hope of using the iPad and to operate the Windows and Mac machines without having to lug them with me. As it is right now, I am spending more time fighting issues than using the machines.I did open a ticket on this and the agent said yes, it appears to be an issue with the Magic Keyboard w/Trackpad. He was going to escalate it and get back to me. But, no surprise, no one got back to me. I am at the point of cancelling the GoToMyPC service and looking for a VDI host instead.

Double or triple characters when typing

If I’m very very careful and watch I can get logged into my workstation. The app repeats characters. Having this issue on 3 separate iPad Pro’s all with smart keyboards. I don’t know if there is an issue with compatibility with the keyboards, iOS 11, or what, but I can get right in on a laptop sitting right beside of the iPad with no issues at all. It is only the app on the iPad. I haven’t tried the iPhone version. Put in a support ticket. Hopefully they will acknowledge this issue and get it fixed asap.

Reliable peace of mind

Versions of windows come and go. Connections between them become obsolete. Programs run in one version but not another.Gotomypc endureth forever. Connections endure even with different operating systems. I can use my computer as if it was an app on my phone.I hate to think what life would be without it. So many years now. So much convenience and peace of mind.

Works perfectly

I have found this program to work virtually flawlessly. I can work on my own desktop virtually anywhere. The cost is far less than individual online versions of each program and is far more versatile

Works Well.

Since the Beta testing days, service tool app has always worked without fail. Although more appropriate for larger screens such as laptops, even on the small Mobile screens, it functions. The security aspects are also done well. Much thought and testing applied.

Not Happy With Productivity

Usually App versions work much better than web versions, but with this App I have found it to be the opposite. There is a very bad typing delay within the app that I don’t experience anywhere else on my IPad. I’m using OS11, so it may be isolated to that. Since I use this primarily for work and emails I need to be able to move quickly through my emails, very unfortunate. Even still I tried to just use the web version and it makes me use the app. Not happy with the sophistication of this app, especially for a paid service.

Worst App for MacOs - Like a virus

I installed GoToMyPc on my iMac hoping I could log in remotely. After about an hour I figured it out, pretty worthless. Worse however is that you can’t uninstall the app. IF you are thinking about installing this on your mac you should look elsewhere. THey have an uninstall option that doesn’t work. They have a uninstaller tool that fails miserably. Think perhaps you can uses SUDO to remove it? No luck. Personally these people should be run out of business for creating such garbage.

Doesn’t get any better

I’ve been using Go to My PC since it first launched and I can’t find a product better.I work at from my cell phone I’ve worked it from my laptop,I’ve logged into multiple PCs from different parts of the world as long as there’s Internet access you’re good to go. Love this product.
