Baseball boy

Before you skip over this review because it’s like a mile long, I just want to get one point across. DO NOT GET THE GAME, YOU SPEND MORE TIME WATCHING ADS THAN ACTUALLY PLAYING THE GAME. Okay, now to begin the criticism. This game is hard evidence of how greedy the game developers are. First of all, it’s a cheap rip-off of baseball boy, and they can’t deny it. Almost everything about the game just screams baseball boy. How there are four upgrades that you can buy, one including strength. The meter to hit the ball is almost EXACTLY the same, except the colors are reversed. The graphics are so similar. Even the name is a copy. I haven’t even gotten to the ads yet. There are WAY too many ads. As most people know, ads give the game developers money, and this game has a TON of ads. Like I said earlier, I had the game for about ten minutes, and I would say that I spent more time watching ads than actually playing the game. In the middle of a put, an ad will come up. When you buy and upgrade, an ad will come up. Even when it asks you if you want to watch an ad for a boost, and you hit no, it will still give you an ad. As I said, do not get this game, it’s not worth it.

Not too fun. Ads everywhere.

Well, the title says it all, but I’ll elaborate. I just don’t know the point of the game, do I spend coins on something? Does anything happen other than landing it it on the fairway? Can the developer make something original? I mean, Spider Solitaire is what you name your company solely for SEO purposes, super gross, I hope they are filtered out for anyone actually looking for a spider solitaire game. Seems like this game is a clone of something, but I’m not sure. It feels lazy, like most things in the App Store these days. Apple needs to curate the store, it might as well be the other store at this point. Quality standards are dead, all we have left is ad filled garbage.

Glitchy

Game is fun but any ricochet to the side and anything over 11k in distance and the game can't track the ball, making it impossible to avoid or redirect properly. Also, landing on greens off to the side it shows fairway and in other cases landing on the fairway behind trees it has you putt. Basic game set up but major issues for what should have been an easy development, especially using the same platform as games like baseball boy, etc.

Seems rigged

- Prefect shots down the middle are designed to land between holes so you can't putt for extra coins. If you don't hit it slightly off center you are wasting your time.- Ball speed has different settings between the driver and putter. At the end of a drive the ball on the green will skip over the hole and stop one block away whereas hit at the same speed with the putter it will go on. Basically designed to not let you get a hole in one.- Use the jackpot spin on a putt in and you will get 20x+ every time. Use it on a hole in one and you will not get more than 10x.

Putting

You should be able to putt from wherever. And the game should reward a “Perfect” swing more than it does. The meter also seems inconsistent. You could hit the same shot and the ball lands somewhere different every time even when you don’t upgrade or change power/speed/bounce.

Purple ball glitch??

This game is supperrrr! I love it! I like it cause it’s not complicated at all and it is just a really simple game. I see that there are different types of balls ranging from while, gold, blue, purple etc. I would give this 5 stars but the purple ball which is supposed to give me like 3 times earnings and strength it bounces backwards and gives me a negative number for its range. It reaches about -1395 then glitches out and stops occasionally seeing the purple ball just go around in a loop. I eventually give up and close out the app to restart it. The purple balls seem valuable and I’ve wasted too many to like what’s happening. It happens every single time.

Videos not working

Overall, it’s a pretty fun game but after watching videos to get triple coins, jackpot, or the gold ball, it doesn’t give the reward. It would do this occasionally before this last update but since the update, it doesn’t give any of them.After trying to play this game in this state, it’s just not fun at all. Watching videos and missing out on anything that I do is not worth it. Until this gets fixed, I can’t and will not play this game anymore. I have missed out on so many rewards because of this issue.

I BEG OF YOU PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DONT PLAY THIS!!

Okay when I say don’t play it I actually mean it! They COPIED another game called baseball boy this is not okay and you should not copy other games it is really not cool and also there is ads galore so please please please please!! You are basically giving the developers money when you play so please don’t play this they literally copied another game and this is not okay.. And your probably like “Ugh she’s just jelly and she just is talking about the concept blah blah blah” no! Not at all! This game copied EXACTLY like baseball looks like when you upgrade something it look exactly how you upgrade something in baseball boy! And when you swing and there is a thing with colors and you try to go on the green that looks EXACTLY like in baseball boy and that is exactly what you do! Honestly they should take this game down for copying another game! This is not okay I repeat this is not okay! 🙄

Golf boy

I really enjoy the game. Just got it and I’m moving along pretty fast. The key is watching ads to get gold balls then waiting to get a hole in one to use jackpot spin. I can go up around 15 levels in each category each time I do that. Just a tip :) love the game and I can see it has enough content to keep me entertained for a while. Also the golfing aspect makes it much better game play than the baseball boy! Game which is what I saw the ad for this while playing.

Golf Boy, it’s a great game to play in your free time! Super fun and engaging and it’s just really well made, I do wish that the levels would change the scenery but it’s okay!
