I'm basically an idiot with apps-tech_ but this is so EZ 2 use. & SO MUCH FUN🎉👻💟. So EZ 2 add 2 text messages & everybody I send gifgabs 2 LUV them. 2 bad we can't include them in our review 4 U 2 C. Plus U can save your creations 2 your gallery 2 save & use again, send 2 other ppl, etc. THANKS 4 giving this application 2 us. Makes it EZ 2 B an artist

Gif Gab by Jib Jab is a true advancement in human connection and communication. In a suddenly bygone era, I would call my mother in Friday night and have to chit chat for an hour when really I just wanted to reach out and let her know I hadn’t forgotten about her. Now I can send her a gif of me disco dancing in a white jumpsuit on a beach with a disco ball hanging from a palm tree with a thought bubble tenderly admitting, “LOVE YOU MA!!! TGIF!” I would give 6 stars if it let me. #SethBeckerIsHot
Would easily be a 5 star app if....
The app and its functionality are excellent. I love it. The only reason I can’t rate it 5 Stars is because of the inability to make gifs with a transparent background. It’s such a baffling decision/omission by the developers. Half the fun of GIFs is to make “stickers” — GIFs with a transparent background that can be used in a chat or anywhere else really. It’s such a bummer that they didn’t think about this when making the app. Every GIF you export MUST have a color background (or image). It’s a real shame, because otherwise I’d consider this an incredibly useful 5 star app. But if you’re okay with that feature missing, you’ll love this app! (Also, a way to pay to remove the watermark would’ve been extremely appreciated. It’s kinda frustrating that there’s no path whatsoever to removing it.)Since it seems the app development has been abandoned, it looks like we’ll never get those features. 😞 RIP
This could be my favorite app ever BUT...
This is such a hilarious app. It has so many options for you to choose from and it’s free! BUT, there are2 major things that need to be fixed. It takes FOREVER to load your choice of Gif and it freezes up while trying to load which then leaves you no choice but to close it out and try again. It took me about 5 mins just to text ONE out to someone...please fix!! I will change my rating once those 2 major flaws are fixed.
Fun App, But Freezes Up When Exporting
I enjoy what GifGab allows you to do a lot. They have so many fun items to choose from to make silly videos and gifs I think.Though, I do wish that they offered a way make a one-time in-app purchase of like a dollar or so, to remove the GifGab watermark from our exported work.But, the biggest issue I have with this program is that it freezes up on me when I try to export a video, on my iPhone 6 Plus, running iOS 11.4.I was able to save an animated gif file of a project I created. Yet, when I went to save a video, the app just froze up showing the "Making Magic" prompt, for like 4 or 5 minutes until I just had to force quit the application. So, I'm not sure what is going with the program. But I do hope that the developer will please look into fixing this problem in the hopes that I can save a video of my work, thanks. And I would also appreciate it if you would consider my request about allowing us to make a one-time in-app purchase to remove the watermark from our work please. Thanks if you'll do so and thank you for this what I consider to be, very enjoyable application. God bless 😁.
Best app ever
This has literally improved the quality of my life and is so easy to use. Whenever my best friend is frustrated or sad I just respond to her with a funny gif and we both laugh so hard you can’t be upset anymore! I would delete every app on my phone to have just this one. Thank you
Best App Ever!
I use this app almost daily! The options are endless. For instance, I can make a movie using another movie maker application, but I want to add something funny to the picture. I add the picture I’m using to Gif Gab, so now the picture is the background, and then add whatever animation I want--where I want it. Then save the whole thing to a movie and insert the picture into my movie making app. It’s the best app out there! You won’t be disappointed.

Love the app idea. When I send these, people find them cute and funny. What i don’t like is the search feature doesn’t work and favorite GIFs disappear. You use it one day then it’s no longer available. Also the GIFs take a long time to upload. Overall it’s a pretty cute app. I’d recommend but with warnings.

This app has brought me so much amusement! I like taking photos from my own surroundings and putting the created gifgab characters in them 🤗🎉. Sent my teenager one of her as the granny vacuuming and had it in our own living room. Then I told her to do it. She responded “please stop this madness” but I know she secretly enjoys my creative messages 😉! As does my husband and the dozens other I send these to. GifGab, you have revolutionized the bitmoji, thus emoticons, thus THE WORLD! 😍

*Update 09 Jan 2019:App does now work. I would like to thank the developer for their response to my concern.Old Review:Should be called Pick, Stall, Frozen. Doesn't fully load recommendations from your searches. If you pick a GifGab and decide you that it is not right for you, the app completly freezes up after you delete the GigGab, so you can not do anything. This made me delete the app. ANNOYING!
