I used this app for learning functional groups for a chem exam and it definitely helped. The app tested me on more groups than I technically needed to know so a setting that allowed the user to select groups to be tested on would be nice. Overall clean app, great practice, and totally worth the price. Also you can turn off ads for free!
No way to learn or refresh without just flipping through them and marking wrong. Descrtion claims learn easy first and move on, not true
I didn’t even bother using this app, the moment I opened it here comes the adds and this after paying for it. Forget it, the greed of this app will it’s death.
But better for brushing up. Could use more features but really great as is
You pay for an app that still has ads
It's a little annoying that while you pay for the app there are still ads running. And then there are links to other apps they have made which look like additional help. Kind of deceitful. However, the material is decent and the games help.
The most important app for organic chemistry students includes 80 functional groups, the classes of organic compounds (aldehyde, ethers, esters, etc.) and natural products (nucleic acids, carbohydrates, lipids, etc.). Start from the basic groups (such as ketones and hydrocarbons) and proceed to the advanced topics (for example, azo compounds and boronic acids). Choose the game mode and take a quiz: 1) Spelling quizzes (easy and hard) - answer all questions correctly to win a star. 2) Multiple-choice questions (with 4 or 6 answer options). 3) Time game (give as many answers as you can in 1 minute) - you should give more than 25 correct answers to get a star.
