Works like a charm....

...can't say the same for any of the other apps from this dev though. Most of which are severely limited, very buggy, crash a lot, or don't match the apps description and end up being useless.The only complaint I have with this app is there is no way to turn off, clear or reset the course following line.If you are practicing your procedures around a particular area, doing touch-n-gos, or generally not necessarily flying from point A to point B, that course line can get obnoxious.The only way to clear it is to exit the app completely, relaunch, and reconnect.Other than that this app is great and is the cheapest way to get you a moving map for your flight simming.

This app is a great Flight Sim companion

Having this app with FSX is great. The maps allow you to flight between places without instruments. And the support is excellent. Well worth it.

Very Good Program

I had difficulty connecting with the server when I initially downloaded the app. The App creater promptly emailed me the next morning, worked out the issue and I was able to logon to the server. Since then, I have been flying around the World non-stop and checking my position on my iPad as well as iPhone. This is a great overall addition to both FSX and FS2004 (which I run most of the time). Google maps is also 100 pct. accurate with the positon of the aircraft in Microsoft FSX / FS2004. This makes flying even more fun now that you have a real-time map. Keep up the good work. Hopefully, airspeed and flight planner (GPS) data, time to destination, time from departure can be added to this app in the future.

A diamond in the rough

The premise is awesome but execution is lacking. For example launching the app sometimes does not show your flight. The map has been upgraded and is an improvement but still scales poorly. The screenshot function is a disaster! It is slow and the window or size if the screenshots does not scale. The screen flickers noticeably. Functions listed in the latest update seem to be missing. If the developer can fix these problems and polish up the app it is a true winner.

FSX Follow has potential

Installed this application today on my iPAD and FSX system and tested it out. Works as advertised but needs more features. I would like to see the following enhancements to make it more useful:1. Continuous historical display of aircraft track line instead of "push pins" on the map for the last five position updates.2. Course line if flight plan has been entered3. Use of aviation charts such as Sectional, TAC, en route charts, etc4. Flight sim aircraft data displayed on bottom edge of map (speed, altitude, heading)5. An easy/obvious way to save screenshots on the iPAD once they are displayed, so they can be used as "wallpaper"Can anyone see your aircraft once you are logged in? It would seem so, as you just need to select the aircraft name from the list in the iPAD application.

Disappointed

It simply doesn't work. Downloaded and followed the directions, downloaded the software to my PC, no nothing. Won't connect, wont allow me to create a password, no drop down menu, none of the things the help menu tells me to do are there. Could be its not compatible with Windows 10 but if that's the case , they should have said so. Glad it was not three dollars, at least I didn't lose much, but it was a loss of three dollars. It just doesn't work AT ALL. Not even a little bit.

Amazing App and customer support from Jeroen!

I purchased a few years back Fsx follow in the App Store iOS and Microsoft store. The program was very easy to set up and use. Suddenly it stopped working! Finally I noticed it was back, however I use FSX boxed. The app only worked with steam. I contacted support and Jaroen sent me a response within 24 hours that he would work on a fix. A few days later, I was contacted by Jeroen. They sent me a link for fsx boxed.It worked immediately. So many new features! radar, 3d and 2 d map tracker, cockpit views, airports etc. love the app. I even sent in a small donation for his efforts.I would recommend to anyone who wants a fun app that works great with fsx! Other formats are available. Thank you ver6 much Jeroen!Follow up. I converted to Prepar3d v4.5 and the program and app work flawlessly! I use it every day! Worth every penny and much more!Jargon, thanks again for making a great product!

Problem solved, back to normal.

After trial and error I've figured it out, this may help some of you because it seems to work differently for others and ill give a better description. Download the driver thing or pc client. Load fsxfollow. Set it up for your flight. Exit the fsxfollow. Load fsx follow on computer, then fsx, then your flight meaning your aircraft and everything. The main menu does not seem to work. Now load fsxfollow again and log in. Soon it should show up in any of their apps. Hope that helps. The way it was explained did not help me. Anyway it is a great app. I use it on my ipad mini and iPhone, seems like a virtual glass cockpit.

Worth the price

For the price, compared to PC fsx apps, it's worth it. The map really does help keep track of where you are when doing something else (working at the office).Cockpit screen shot blinks for two sec, totally useless. Don't like that other can watch my flight and with default aircraft, hard to tell which in the list is yours.Has huge potential. Can't wait for improvements and price is worth what I have for now.

MSFS 2020 support

I purchased this app to provide so added information to the flight simulator without having to drill down or trying to use a control with the mouse. The pc component downloaded and seemed to communicate with MSFS 2020. I was unable to get the iPad app to connect to it. The help files were more a history of flight simulation. I could not find any help on their site or with any Google searches.
