Works great but only option is subscription

Hi, this app is perfect in a pinch when you need to fax something, I’ve never had something not deliver. The reason I give it 3 stars, is when I hit the refill balance option it only provides subscriptions for a length of time and not individual fax credits or pages for purchase. I’m not using a fax on a weekly, monthly or yearly basis so this makes the app obsolete for me. I don’t want to buy a week subscription and then have to cancel it after sending my one fax- that makes more work for me. Can you just make it simple where we can by fax by the credit or page? I feel like that is how it used to be 🤔If this option is available, it is well hidden. You would think the refill balance wouldn't lead to only sub options, but it does. If you do business with fax on a daily basis this app could definitely benefit you.

FAX APP PERFECTION

I am not one to usually write reviews, but I could not help myself! If you are looking for a fax application look no further. This app is wonderfully because of how user friendly it is. I love that you are able to do everything by the touch of your iPhone. I can access documents, photos, anything I need on the go! That I do a lot! I don’t have time to stop and fax. Technology is so advanced nowadays and people are so busy we don’t have the time of day. Like I said, that is why I love this app! Did I mention the price is pretty much unbeatable? I use it a lot so I buy in bulk and who doesn’t know bulk is always cheaper? If you have the right company, which is this one!

Worst app ever. Do not purchase.

I don’t know what’s happening, but I’ve been charged for a yearly subscription twice in a one month period, I’ve had to pay for another weekly subscription, I keep losing my fax numbers, they change every single time, this is stealing my money and I’m not actually getting any kind of service. I’ve reported this to Apple, I’ve requested a refund, I’ve done everything for a quest to help. What is going on? I need to be able to get my fax’s in a reliable way and have a consistent number, and paying over $100 - at this point I’ve paid about 250 - for nothing. Horrible, unreliable and I can’t wait to find a service to replace this. Pretty much anything would be better. What a horrible “fax“ service that steals money. Update: I finally got a response, and they told me to take my issue up with Apple. Apple is not the problem, the service is the problem. Use JotNot. It’s much better and they don’t rip you off, and you get to keep your number.

Furious!

This App has really changed since it started. In the beginning, I could purchase pages as needed for faxing. Now, I have to purchase “at the very minimum,” one week of “unlimited faxes.” That wouldn't be bad, except the cost is more expensive this way. And I have no fax pages left over to use at a later time. ... The other issue. They now delete faxes older than 90 days! ... What? You should have warned your clientele prior to enacting this policy! ... I literally had just reviewed my “sent faxes” that were over 1 years old on this app about 2 weeks ago. Fast forward, I just signed in to the App again this evening, to discover that all of my faxes over “90 days old,” (which encompassed all but 2 of my faxes), have been deleted! ... What? ... And “Without Warning!” ... I’m sickened! Some of my faxes had critical information to which I still needed access, and need to be able to show “proof” of being sent if the question arises. ... I’m now in a lurch! ... Shame on you for doing that without giving your clientele/me the opportunity to store faxes elsewhere! ... I’m done using this App!

Exceptional!

In a world where you have to go to the nearest FedEx to send a fax (which first needs to be printed out) this is a much better solution! I’ve used other apps which were terribly expensive this one charges you buy the fax which is very reasonable. One of the nicest features is that it gives you a fax confirmation end it just like a normal fax machine it will keep trying until it gets through. Very well-designed, And even allows you to Design a cover sheet. Plus you can send a fax anytime of the day. For example the last fax I sent was at 11:32 PM. For someone like myself who sends maybe three faxes a year this is in excellent alternative to going to a store.

Great app

I’m not one for writing reviews, unless something is really good or really bad. This app is really good. I had hit a roadblock at work on some reimbursement paperwork that HAD to be faxed (seriously???). So before trotting over to a business with a fax machine, I decided to see what apps were out there that would work with my iPad. Ran across this and decided to give it a shot. When I had to buy credits to use it, I rolled my eyes and figured it would be a waste of money, so bought the minimum. Sent the fax, and low and behold, it worked! Bought more credits and sent more faxes. It was quick, very easy to use, inexpensive and I have a record of the paperwork. Problem solved! When I need to fax again, I’ll have no hesitation using this app. Thanks developers!

Just tried this

So I had the need to fax something and was going to run up to the corner fedex kinkos when it occurred to me to look for an app. I was hoping for a free one but unless you’re using someone else’s equipment it’s going to cost you. This one is $5.99 for unlimited faxes for 1 week with auto renewal. The process seemed easy and it says my fax was sent. I’ll call the clerk of courts in a couple of hours to make sure. I also found it easy to cancel my subscription and the how to is in the faq. So far I’m satisfied. 3* for now until I confirm my fax was received. Edited to add that the recipient received the fax. This was very easy to use.

Please go back to offering a fax credits option

I loved this app and recommended to everyone, and would still be giving it 5 stars had they not switched to subscription-based pricing. This is what made your app stand out and be different from the others and now you’ve changed to being the very thing you used to comment against in responding to past reviewers who loved the fax credit option and you agreed it was better than those fax apps only offering subscriptions. Why not offer both? When I need to send a fax, I don’t need to send unlimited faxes for any time period - and usually it’s months apart from the need to send one fax until I need to send another. Many customers seem to feel the same way and you’ve lost touch with this. Please go back to offering a “fax credits” option for payment per page.

Used to Be a Good App

Pay by the page, buy credits as needed, what a concept! That was a decent plan. Now they’ve changed the payment process to one of the more ridiculous “improvements” I’ve ever seen. Buy a weeks worth of unlimited faxes for an overpriced amount! How stupid. I need a weeks worth of faxes like I need an enema. Who faxes anything but on the very rare occasion because some utterly ancient bank or organization is stuck in the 90’s. I use this only as a last ditch way to communicate or send information to worthless companies that still use AOL and can’t figure out email. Why the hell would I need a weeks worth of unlimited faxes? How stupid. Way to lose your last two users with stupid decisions changing around a perfectly usable app. There’s no one on earth who needs unlimited faxing for a week, year or lifetime. God forbid if I ever have to fax another page in my life.

Functional app that lost sight of its selling point

I've had this app for a long time now and have had no issue with the service. The interface is great and it works everytime. The biggest issue is that the developers have lost sight of what made this app great in the first place. With the loss of the fax credits/pay per page, the app is now obsolete. I do fax once in a blue moon and the credits were a great idea. If I wanted a subscription there are definitely cheaper and better options through online service providers that gives unlimited faxes and even give you a fax number to receive faxes for less than what this app charges. You guys basically found a solution to a problem but then ended up becoming part of the problem. Best of luck to you guys, the app was good while it lasted.
