Incredible Game, but I have one suggestion...

So this game is awesome. I love the idea and the concept, and it’s super fun. I bought the full game, which just continued to make it better. However, I do have one suggestion. I think you should add a solo mode, perhaps a solo defend mode, in which players can try out any unit they like for free. I’m suggesting this for two reasons: 1. It’s still a great game and I would enjoy solo play as I’m not always with friends and 2. This could be an opportunity to show how nice other character types are to players without the full game. It’s just a suggestion, and I hope you see this. Thanks!

Fun with Friends

Dual is a super fun game to play with one other friend, whether it be on a bus ride or on a plane flight. wifi is always a super fast connection experience, and bluetooth is slow but it works.the game design is very smooth looking, and the feel of blasting your friend with a little blaster is always a good feel when you hit. the IAP is definetly worth it as you get two playable modes and a bunch more ships for only $2.to make this a 5-star, i’d suggest adding maybe 1 or 2 more game modes, and maybe allow 1 more ship from the start so you don’t have to pay.Really fun game!

Awesome game, but not my favorite.

This game is amazing, and it is a very fun game to play with friends, but there are some drawbacks. First of all, there should be a mode where you play against NPCs, because you can’t always play with someone. Next, you should be able to change the color of your character at will, not only when you get a new color. Also, there should be more game modes in general, because I sometimes get bored with only 3 games. Lastly, I believe that the two dollar expansion costs a little much for the content it unlocked. If there were more characters and game modes, I would have been more comfortable. I hope you make the changes suggested in my review, because that would make me and many others who own this game much happier.

SUPER POLISHED and FUN!

This game is incredible! One thing i really valued was how clean the game design was and polished. Everything is clear on how to use and it is just smooth and polished overall. The controls are so simple yet actually require some skill. And it has various fun modes to play in and unique shooters to choose (unique game in general)It is very intuitive: it can connect seamlessly between iOS on Bluetooth or any device using Wifi which I thought was neat. It is just a good game. Thank you for setting yourself apart from all of the cheap and annoying mobile games that flood the app stores nowadays!

This Game is Great!

I have had a lot of fun playing this game so far! At first I searched for local multiplayer games to play with my friends and found this. Only after a few games did I buy the full version and had even more fun! I was ecstatic when I saw the update with new ships and started back up again!Although this game is amazing, I have a few minor complaints. They are to add the option for a joystick because it can get hard to see at times when my friends and I rotate the phone too much, and adding one or two more fighters in the free version.This is still a great game nonetheless and I highly recommend getting the full version!

Great Game!

Thank you so much for making a fun 2 player game as unique and easy to use as this one. There isn’t another like it on the App Store. I feel like the IAP is pretty worth it, gaining 5 ships and 2 game modes for $2. Suggestions: 1. I would really appreciate a solo game mode. A lot of the times I really want to play this game, but I don’t have anyone to play it with. I feel like solo would make it become a lot more popular and more enjoyable. 2. I like the idea of getting new colors from playing with new people, but I think that colors should be able to be chosen without having to earn them (or maybe give 5 or 6 options to start with and then specialty colors can be unlocked). Overall it is an amazing game, very unique. Great job!

Decent 2 Player Game - Developer Wakeup

If you’re looking specifically for a locally-hosted 2 player game, this game is it. It’s fun and will definitely help time past. However, I just personally feel the development of this app has been too minimalistic. It’s been years since I’ve first discovered DUAL, and yet, it is still lacking features. It doesn’t rotate the screen depending on your orientation, there are only 3 modes, and you can’t play against a computer. Now, I’m no programmer, and I want to full game in support of the developer, but it’s difficult to spend money on a game that you can’t play alone. Maybe consider the possibility of hosting more than 2 players. The addition of game modes (e.g. “King of the Hill”, “Juggernaut”, “Gun Game [but with ships/powers]”, “Boss Fight”) should be a primary focus, and with this COVID19 quarantine in place, I’ll be keeping my hopes up (and my money on standby).

Great Little Game

DUAL is exactly as complex as it needs to be. It isn’t trying to make game of the year, and it stays humble. It’s a great way to pass the time with a friend, and while the updates aren’t very often, none of them have really changed the game. You can go months without playing this, and still pick it up and be ready to play. It’s a nice little arcade game that does just what it needs to, and nothing it doesn’t. I recommend it to any two people that are bored at any given time

Got many of my friends into this.

This game is so fun! There are not a lot of good mobile games, but this one is! After only 3 days of having the free version, I decided the $2 for the full game would have to be worth it, and it definitely was! I started to show my friends in school during free period. Four of them have gotten it and bought the full version. We all play with each other every free period and we all enjoy ourselves, it even brings us closer together as friends. Thank you for this game. It's awesome!

Awesome game, just not enough options

I’ve been playing this game for a while now and it’s my favorite multiplayer phone game. but… there are only three starters and you have to watch adds to unlock two of them for only three rounds. So if you want to use one of the starters without watching adds you have to fully buy the game and then you don’t want the starters anymore because you have all the others. So if you were making an update make sure you at least make the triangle or the circle available for free without adds.
