Could be a 5 Star

I truly enjoy this game and the competition of placement with the other players. HOWEVER— the Ads on this game have become extremely frustrating and I don’t understand why this must be done to players. There is an Ad BEFORE you play, and directly AFTER you play regardless if you have pressed continue. And then the Ads run 2, that’s TWO, times! Arrrgh! Why not give us the option to pay $5. To play the game without Ads?!!

Almost the perfect app

I love this game. I’m a crossword junkie and this app makes it easy to get my fix. It is easy to navigate, the puzzles are great and the ads are minimal compared to other games I have tried. I would have given it 5 stars if they gave you more than 5 coins for finishing a section. That’s really low for the amount of puzzles you have to do and the cost of items available. Still a fun game for your crossword lovers.

Review

I really like these crosswords; but I can only do 1 or 2 a day. Sometimes 3. Only because of the ADS! There are just too many! If they would do the ADS after the 2nd crossword, that would be great! But before and after, it just seems like all you do is watch ADS!Sincerely,Karen Feeney

Too easy

I love word games and this one is especially fun, but the app is bent on making you use hints!! Every time you begin a new level it automatically turns on a feature to give you 5 free letters of the crossword puzzle to help you solve, which you have to turn off yourself. Additionally, there is another power up that there is NO ability to turn off that gives you letters of the puzzle every time you solve a word. This ruins the fun because some words are solved before I even get to read the description for them. Maybe I’m not far enough in yet (but I’m on level 50?) but this game does not challenge you enough at all. My guess is they want you to finish levels faster so you can watch another ad. Bummer.

Please Stop! Or I am outta here.

Just an FYI, I am in first place on your leaderboard at the present moment.I really do enjoy playing this game. I am realizing that I know a lot more than I thought I did.I am also realizing that my memory for recalling words is a lot better than I thought it was.I think that this crossword puzzle is great at sharpening your brain.HAVING SAID ALL OF THAT!I have two MAJOR GRIPES…# (1) Please stop the constant barrage of ads, it’s annoying, frustrating and infuriating.THIS IS A BIGGEY FOR ME.# (2) Why would you make me have to watch even more ads AFTER I JUST SENT YOU MONEY TO BUY COINS?I mean seriously people that is not even nice and the constant ads that you have to watch ALL THE WAY THROUGH EVERY SINGLE MINUTE EVERY SINGLE TIME YOU PLAY is what will persuade me to delete your app and locate something a lot less annoying.Lori

Had To Delete

Having quite a bit of fun with the game, seemed way to simple however and needed some way of getting harder puzzles without having to go through all of the levels. However I could not figure out why my phone was getting so hot. Looking at my notification page I noticed this “Vungle cloud ux template” running. Never seen any game do that before and after doing a little research looks like they way they are distributing ads. So I deleted. I don’t need something messing with my phone so much that it actually gets hot.

Need to fix some things

I am enjoying this game, but would enjoy it more with a few improvements. 1) Too many ads. There’s not an option I can find to just pay for a full version without ads. I almost always am willing to pay for that feature if it’s a game I play often. Please consider adding that. 2) Not difficult enough. I am almost to level 300 and have yet to see any difficulty. Almost takes the fun out of it when it’s too easy. 3) Keeps trying to force me to take the “Free +5 letters.” I turn that toggle off, and then it will toggle itself back on - right before my eyes. It does this even more especially when it’s a “watch ad” one and not a free one. It has gotten me more than once when my thumb was faster than my brain and I tapped START before catching what happened. Then I’m stuck watching yet another ad, to get a power up that I don’t even want. Tricky tricky. 4) Too many repeat clues. Also quite a few typos, and even grammatical errors that make it a little confusing to figure out the clue. (Not to be mistaken for difficulty- just a flat out bad clue, spelling error, etc)Aside from these things, I really do like it. I’ve been playing every day. But with those improvements I mentioned, it would be a five star game.

Freezes A Lot

I love the game, but it does freeze a lot when I try to start a new game. It is flashing play, but it doesn’t do anything. I checked to see if it needed to be updated, but it doesn’t. It’s really annoying.

Great game but low points

Love playing this game I play it daily. The puzzles are great. The only thing I’m nothappy with is the amount of points you get when finishing a section. 5 points doesn’t seem like much for all the puzzles you must complete to finish a section and get your rewards. Would give it a 5 star rating if the points were larger. Feels like you work too hard just to such low reward.

Revise earlier review

Earlier I said something about how the ads were so loud and how it was hard to silence them since the mute button disappeared immediately and took several taps before you could get it to show up again. I cautiously went in to play a few minutes ago. I figured the problem would not be solved in less than 24 hours, if at all. I was delighted to find that the problem was solved!!! That was quick service. Thank you!!!
