Best app for tracking hours

Update: they promptly fixed the glitch and it’s great again. I had to temporarily use a different app but after a few days the glitch was fixed and I’m back on this one. So grateful for a prompt developer. Really satisfied with this app. I’ve been using this app for a while now and since the most recent update it will no longer allow me to edit the start/stop times so if I forget to clock in exactly on time, I can’t correct it. I need this glitch fixed ASAP or I will have to switch apps

It’s alright

It’s an okay app. But I’ve got some issues with it... I mainly downloaded it so I can keep track of my pay / hours because seems like my jobs skimming off the top. I’m trying to go back as far as January’s times and it’s kind of annoying doing it with this app. I’ll click on say April 3rd to put in the times for that date and then I have change the date within that date about 4 times (clock in/clock out/ break in/ break out). I think that once you click on the date it should auto populate the Date for that entry for you so you don’t keep doing it. Kind of annoying. Another issue is once I’m done with entering the info for April 3rd it’ll jump me back to today’s date and I have to scroll alllllll the way back to put in the next date. If these little things can be fixed with the next update I’d give it a 5 stars. But for now the $5 isn’t really worth it. It’s really annoying entering information from the past. :(Update : it’s still pretty annoying to use. The scroll thing to add the date and time keeps scrolling back on its own after I’ve entered the information. I kind of almost want to delete it.

App keeps crashing on cell phone

The only reason I purchased the full version of this app on my iPad was because it said it would be able to be used across all of your linked devices. For some reason, after doing this purchase on my iPad, I downloaded the app on my 132 gb iPhone, which has plenty of storage left. The app on my phone works fine until I recover my purchase from my Apple ID. It’s a pain not being able to use it on my phone due to the app crashing every time I open it, even repeating the process by redownloading. Still crashes. Otherwise, I really like using the app on my iPad, I just wish it wouldn’t keep crashing on my iPhone as soon as I open it.

Great app. I need one more feature then it’s perfect

First of all this app is really incredible. I use it for my business all the time. It’s by far the cleanest and easiest time app I’ve seen and frankly I don’t want to looking any where else. Pro features are definitely worth it and it’s great that it works on every Apple product I own. The one feature that I really need is something to help me set timer budgets per job/client in the deplete them as a clock hours. This way I can set a goal for how many hours I need to spend on a project and stay on task and within budgeted time. This could be a feature you could turn on or off per each job. Also, I’m not sure if this is a thing yet, but if there was a way to see how much time you have spent working on a specific day instead of having to add up all of the hours that would be really cool. Like a daily hour accrual.

I highly recommend this app. It’s very useful when it comes to your hours at work. My managers at Publix were always disappointed in me when I didn’t keep track of my hours because I was always going overtime every week. But I told him that I will find away to where I can keep track of my hours so that way I don’t go overtime each week. And I found this app on the App Store I purchased a premium purchase on the app where you can print out your time card from each week or you can print out the whole entire time card for the month as well in the app. I have used it for the past two years there is no bugs in the app it’s highly secured in private. The good thing about it is even if I delete it from my phone I can go back in the App Store and reinstall it. Passable features: The preferable features that I wish personally the App would have is where you can have it as a home widget on your home screen on your iPhone with the latest iOS software. And also built in dark mode feature. Please if one of the developers sees this feedback I hope in the near future maybe even within three or four months can change these requests that I wish for. Thank you again for building this app it’s wonderful and great and very helpful. Thank you also for making our lives easier through work.

Nice concept

I like the concept of being able to track hours and tips in one place, but I have found the app to be a little fiddly in practice. For example, often the "clock in" process fails to maintain the clocked in status and requires a manual time adjustment to "clock out." I'd also like to see more useful visualizations of income, for example by period or some given amount of days rather than just by month. A widget and or 3D touch action would be nice also to quickly start or view current hours. Hoping that the app functionality is improved to match the otherwise nice looks of the app. It's worth a try for now, as there aren't too many apps that match this functionality.

No clock in and out feature

Update from 3 to 5 Stars.Props to the developer for his fast response willingness to update his app based on suggestions and or feature requests. We tend to forget that everyone’s workflow is different and as such the apps we download and try may not have all the features we want right out of the gate. With that said, the only thing needed for this to be the perfect app for me is the ability to clock in, pause or clock out of multiple shifts and or Jobs. Based on the clean design of this app it might even be best to have a screen dedicated with the list of open Shifts and or Jobs that way you can easily pause, clock in and clock out what ever open shifts you have from one screen. The last thing that would be awesome for me with the above is the ability to clock into multiple shifts and or Jobs at once. Thanks to the developer for all their hard work and for making this an awesome app! =========================Clean App, like the shifts and jobs feature however setting time manually is a pain. I was hoping to see a start and stop and or pause. Even a simple clock in and out feature would be nice.

Overtime

The app has a lot of great functions and would fit all of the needs I’m looking for except for one which is going to make the $ I paid a waste and I’m going to have to move on unfortunately. I actually purchased this because I read a review that noted the upgrade calculated overtime but at closer inspection it only calculates the amount you make and not the hours. When I send in the report to my boss, they still have to do the work to calculate the overtime hours. Is there any way, like quite a few reviewers have asked for, that after 8 hours the app could have an option to roll over to overtime? Thank you!

Error with restoring purchase

I really liked this app in the past when I first purchased it. When I no longer needed a time tracking app I uninstalled the app. I now need a time tracking app with multiple job options again, so I downloaded the app since it worked so well in the past. I have attempted multiple times to restore my previous purchase and each time it tells me the purchase has been restored but then does not allow me to use the app. When i try to repurchase it tells me I have already purchased the app, but all it does is show me the calendar and ask me to purchase the full version. When I click that button it tells me my purchase has already been restored. It will not let me set up new jobs, it doesn’t list any of my old jobs, it gives me no buttons for clocking in or out.

Excellent, logical layout and reasonable price

Clock in has a very easy to use layout and very logical app mechanics. It gives you the ability to program in a specific time range or just press and hold to start a shift right when you press the button. You can enter in break time, different pay rates, and things like overtime and different jobs. You can also edit any of these after the fact. One last good feature is the ability to export shift data via email. I really liked how the app gives you access to all features for a limited quantity of recorded shifts. The full version also comes at a very reasonable price and a one time payment. In conclusion, if you are working as a handyman or anything where you are recording your own hours, this is the app you want. This is not a sponsored review.
