Only works for Apple…

I love this app personally, very informative. Though it does not work on any other device than Apple. I’d love to be able to recommend it to others if it were available to them.

Awesome!

So... I'm suicidal, depressed, and other things, but this app let me jot down things. For me, it didn't help, but it may for you! I 10/10 recommend this to anyone!Update: I'm so sorry for what I said about it not helping... It helped SO much! At first I didn't realize it, but now I do! If it wasn't for this app, I may not have made it to today... thank you so so SO much developer(s)! I love this app so much, and write down things almost everyday! ❤️

Not formatted well for the latest iPhone Update.

I have iOS 15.5 which is one of the newer versions of the iPhone. Before, I just to be able to workshop my thoughts in the app without any issues, however after the new update, the application’s interface is weird. It is buggy and I have to be careful where I click. When I go back into the app after closing it, it will return back to normal. This instance has been repeated 7/10 times upon execution. Please fix!! I love this app but this bug gets in the way of my progress and makes me want to avoid it.

Great app!

One of the things I first noticed when opening the app was the explanation on how cognitive behavioral therapy works. Which is great, because I’ve tried a lot of different apps out there and most of them don’t explain. It also has information about when to use the app, automated negative thoughts, cognitive distortions, reframing negative thoughts, why journaling helps and journaling tips. That helps out especially when you are journaling by yourself rather than with a therapist to guide you. It dives deeper into the different types of cognitive distortions, and how to recognize and fix irrational thinking. It asks you how you are feeling with a range of 5 different emotions and then brings you to a journal to track why you feel that way. That helps to figure out triggers and what keeps you happy. The last thing I want to add is the healing exercises. It gives you different ways to challenge your thoughts depending on what type of cognitive distortions you are experiencing, and helps you turn them around. It is also free! 10/10 would recommend!

Made me cry -good tears

I am in therapy, but it’s just plain old talk therapy. I had heard of CBT but never bothered to learn anything about it. Despite several medication changes and countless hours of talk-therapy over the years, I don’t feel like my depression or anxiety has improved much at all. And I’m so tired of feeling this way. Then I found this app, and started paying attention to all the negative thoughts I’m having and challenging them. The relief was so immediate I started crying. I’m very thankful this app was free because that was what attracted me to try it. I know this app will not “cure” me, but I feel like it’s a heck of a helpful tool. I’m going to research CBT now, and look for a new therapist who uses it. I think out of everything I’ve tried this has been the most helpful.

Good but..,,

Great app, but the window at the bottom blocks the text making it impossible to finish reading .An example would be when you choose something it will ask you to move on or more examples.

A great resource

This app is easy to understand and takes you step by step into situations that need a bit of thought. Combined with therapy this app has helped me develop tools I need in my stressful job and complicated family issues.

Some features are not usable

This app would be pretty good if I was able to use all the features. Any of the categories under “choose your method” (when you click the plus button) are frozen. Meaning I can read the description but can’t scroll down to start the activity. “Challenging core beliefs” is one example, but all of the sections are the same. I paid the subscription but canceled since it’s not usable. Once this bug is fixed I will provide a more updated review of the app. They also need to add either a pin or face unlock.
