Excellent remote camera app

This is the best app that I have tried so far for the purpose of controlling the camera of one iOS device from another. I have tried so far 5 other apps that claimed to provide this capability, but each had its own flaws. This app is the first one that worked flawlessly, and as I expected it to.It captures pictures with the best quality your camera can provide, and stores it locally.Pairing the two devices is a snap, and works also on bluetooth if you don’t have wifi available. No need for internet connection.You can even remote control the flash.One thing missing is the ability to control the 2x optical zoom on the iphone X. I hope to see it in a future release.Please note that I was not interested in, and therefore didn’t try any of the other features of this app that are not related to the remote feature, so my review applies only to the remote feature.

BEST app for macro (close-up) photography!

This is the iPhone camera app I use all the time for macros (I take lots of them). Often it crashes or has other bugs; however, when it works, the photos are excellent. Shows my subject in focus with blurry, bokeh background. Highly recommened Camera Plus!

I want my $0.99 back

The Apple Watch app that comes with this doesn't work reliably enough to make it useful. That's the only thing I was interested in. The camera app that comes with the phone is very good to begin with. The watch app will operate the still camera remotely, and it gives you a smooth view of what the camera sees. The one thing it will not do is operate the video camera. I don't know why Apple left this feature out, but I was hoping to find an app that would give me that capability. This one looked like it might do the trick.It sort of does, but the live preview is very choppy and grainy when it works at all. The watch constantly loses communication with the phone, even when they're inches apart. This makes the app too annoying to use. Since the developers chose not to offer a free or trial version, I guess I'm out my 99 cents. However, maybe if enough suckers complain to Apple, they'll jettison this junk so no one else gets sucked in.

Disappointed because of the remote shutter

As you could already see from many other reviews...I bought this app in a bundle (where I find only one app worthy) for one reason....remote shutter. I tried with more devices and the pairing / connection is really poor. It has really low radius and once you get disconnected it is really challenging to reconnect. Other thing is you cannot easily recognize which phone will be the camera and which one the shutter. Please work on this and improve...

Sunrise captured surpasses Apple Camera

Ability of app to capture the right amount of light enabled sunrise pic closer to what our eyes saw. Adding text is simple. Other art/symbols available but I rarely use them. Watch for save screen before assuming app placed finished edit onto camera roll. Occasionally edits are lost, but original photo remains. Helpful app to enhances photography.

sometimes works sometimes doesn’t

I seem to run into a lot of connection issues between two iPhones, after they were paired the first time, if I close the app on both phones and then open it again they don’t seem to be able to connect again, after maybe one out of 10 tries it might. The other issue I found is that if I use this app to take remote video, I have to keep the remote iPhone on the entire time the video is being recorded, if I close out the app on the remote, the other iPhone will stop recording. I wanted to use this app to be able to frame the shot and start shooting videos from the remote iPhone camera, without having to keep the app open in the iPhone in my hand. thanks for your help in looking into these issues

False Features: AirSnap

Avoid this app at all cost. Purchased this primarily because of the promised feature, AirSnap that enables another iOS device (particularly iPhone 4S) to serve as the view finder while the iPhone 7plus as the main camera but all went haywire. I tried to pair both of the said devices but to no avail (no matter how hard I try). I will seek Apple's PR to have my refund. I rarely to post negative remarks about an app believing do all have glitches or bugs but this one is an exception hence a major feature that won't deliver leaving one an abysmal experience.

Much better than the Apple iOS camera

I started using this app for my online auction photography and noticed a huge improvement in the quality of images right away. I was consistently having to rephotograph items when I was just using the native camera. With camera plus the stabilize feature eliminates motion blur so the pictures are clearer and have more accurate color. The lumy bar allows for taking pictures in less than ideal lighting. My only request would be improved controls. It can be difficult to toggle between macro and normal mode, and would like to be able to use volume buttons to snap picture while using stabilize feature. Also, add slow motion video and panorama still pictures. Overall this app is superior to the Apple camera and I use it 95% of the time for taking pictures. Bravo developers! You deserve an Apple sized payday, without the hassle of a buyout.

LOVE ❤️

This camera app does just about everything that I have been looking for in a camera for my iPhone 6. I make and sell jewelry, it's very hard for the traditional camera on my iPhone 6 to capture my jewelry up close with great clarity and the other problem I use to have when taking the pictures was my silver colored jewelry would come out looking like it was gold and not the silver that it was. I used to have to take a LOT of photos before I was somewhat satisfied. Now I get the correct colors of my jewelry with the first picture I take, with this app. It even allows me to get a great close up of the details. This app has saved me much of my valuable time. If I could give 10 stars, I would. I highly recommend it as well as paying a few more dollars for extra filters. AWESOME

Outstanding for using an iPhone to control video recording on an iPad remotely

I needed to record video at a music gig, recording with an iPad controlled by my iPhone so I wouldn't have to leave the stage to stop and restart the recording. This app did exactly what I needed and worked flawlessly. I recorded eight songs and could see the video on my phone as it was recording on the iPad. Next I'll explore the apps other features, but I got more than my money's worth in one evening.
