It’s been awhile

It’s very in-depth but I only had one match. Which didn’t even respond. There’s some people who aren’t even looking for anything, and you can DM directly which is great but for women. The guy side doesn’t receive messages much. They get hearts or likes which is saying I’m okay to match but the search system I think is too in depth? OR the default search settings are not just near your location. When I was worldwide I was getting a few. The minute I put it to a radius it stopped INSTANTLY. My bio is pretty out there I feel, I took every test and put every info I could. The premium is probably nice but don’t need it but I would probably recommend if you plan on using long term. The coins are nice for free people, with options but most of that isn’t gonna happen or costs gold to make gold back. I don’t know kinda backwards to me. Either way good luck, I like the app but probably won’t find your BOO here.

Would give zero stars if I could

The idea behind this app is great, but they’ve really implemented it as horribly as possible. They hire fake accounts and BOTS to promote their content in a spammy way all across the MBTI groups on Facebook, even getting several of them permanently zucced for spam. They don’t care, they just keep going. The developers of this app are unethical, and I wouldn’t trust them with my data or privacy for that reason. They don’t know what they are doing. Two years of SPAMMING Facebook to DEATH (literally for the groups they selfishly killed with their spam), and still less than 300 reviews. I don’t trust these people. They’re doing a LOT wrong, and I simply don’t trust the developers as far as I could throw them. Absolute trash. Someone PLEASE make a better MBTI based app. The ones doing it so far are FAILING (like these guys), and such an app is actually really needed! Just not one run by unethical, crappy programmers who leave their work full of bugs. The worst part? When you try to offer them feedback, they ask you to change your review to a positive one but they never actually fix the problem. So who knows how many of these reviews are fake as well, all of the five star reviews are in question, probably written by the same bots that they hired to spam Facebook. Scam much, Derek & Team?

Best Social Networking App KNOWN TO MAN

I love this app 💕 Boo encourages me to be myself; it provides the right environment and fosters a positive community for all! I have deleted it and come back so many times. I can't stay away. The deletion was never due to the app; it was always a personal reason. I've been delighted to discover that out of all the social networking apps out there, this one is the only one that makes me feel valued. I shared my art a few times on this app and got positive feedback. This app makes such a difference in my day. I feel heard. Appreciated. I feel like a vital role in the community on Boo. Suggestions

I'm loving the app so far, and there's only a few things I want to suggest to improve. 1) would love to be able to see interest tags on profiles in order to better break the ice. Sometimes people don't list them, so I'm just going off the Telepathy descriptions. 2) It would be great if you could have the ability to mark conversations as unread. Sometimes i view a message and forget to respond. Will add more if I think of them, but lovingggg it so far. Please continue making it better.

A dating app that’s way more than a dating app!

This is probably the first dating app I haven’t hated using! It feels like a dating app with built in social media. You get to like as many different forums when you get to post text/pics/polls and far more, and they all populate on your profile so you can really see what they like (not just 5 things). It also has built in personality tests that help match you with compatible profiles, which is something fun I haven’t really seen any where else!My only complaint is that depending on where you go the community can be kinda small (but you can go global scale if you really want to keep matching), but as the app grows I hope that changes

The bastion of the geeky/alt without higher education

Most dating apps draw an untenably large pool of users, leaving the individual user to swipe interminably, and with little to show for it. Boo, on the other hand, appears to have a corner on a bespoke demographic. Those who self-describe as: nerdy, geeky, alternative, fandom-ites, etc. comprise most of the profiles found on Boo (at least in my local area). Anticipating an inundation of other users, on this app that claims over 9 million downloads, I toggled some filters to narrow down the apses of ages, and to include users pursuing or possessing at least an undergraduate education. I reached the “No Souls Detected” page in under 20 minutes. It was disappointing after I had already committed to a subscription at a promotional rate for several months.The app also touts in advertisements that most dating apps are “beauty contests,” but Boo aspires to be different. This user (whose personal dearth of pulchritude notwithstanding) can confirm: Boo is not a beauty contest.

Seemingly shadowbanned and ignored by support

After using the app for a day, I was really enjoying the concept and features of the app. I decided to purchase a 6 month membership, and shortly after I stopped receiving any matches. People that I matched with stopped responding all at once. I figured it might be a verification issue and tried to get verified multiple times, but was rejected despite following the prompts and waiting days between attempts for results. Any interaction on the social media post side of things seems like it never actually gets seen by the poster, and I’ve tired contacting support to see if there is some issue that I can’t see causing this sudden change that has left my profile in a cage. It’s been days with no responses from support or explanation of what is going on with the product I paid for.This app has essentially taken money and run. Wouldn’t recommend paying for this app as it is.

Very limited swipes and spamming payment options

You can’t open up the app without a message popping up every time trying to get you to buy premium which gets old after the second time. You also don't get limited likes, you get limited swipes. So say you swipe left or “dislike” a bunch of profiles with very few likes, the app will lock you out of looking through more profiles even if you only liked 1-2 out of 15-20. If it was a limited number of likes with unlimited dislikes it would be much more tolerable, but only liking 4 or so profiles a day before getting locked out is a huge turnoff for the app when other apps allow you to have limited likes and unlimited swipes.

Some feedback

Been using this for a while, and here are my thoughts: 1. the app does a good job in pairing people who are actually compatible. From what I've noticed the quality of my matches here are a lot higher than on bumble or coffee meets bagel. 2. I think the profiles could be improved because some people have tons of things in their bio, but others have little to none. Maybe you could enforce having a bio character minimum? 3. I think the Telepathy feature is really cool and underrated. It would be amazing if you guys could expand on this. All in all, great so far

Interesting concept, but you best be in the right area

I love the idea of this app, a little deeper than your Tinder’s and Bumbles and the layout/software seems fine...but there is apparently literally no one using the app in my area! I’m not talking matches, I’m not even getting options! And no, my filters are set fairly broad so that’s not the issue. I bought the 3 month plan and I have literally had only TWO people appear as potential matches and that was on the day I signed up. It’s been over a month now and no one else has appeared so this was a waste of money for me. I would suggest that the app have the option of doing a search with your filters for free without being able to match, I don’t even care if the profiles are blurred, so at least as a consumer you can see if there are enough people in your area to make the purchase worth it...
