Love the App, Can some features be added?

I have been using this app for over 3 years now and it is by far the best for tracking your collections with BGG. I use it daily to update and track my purchases and inventory. It is really helpful for inventory concerns if you are the type of person that collects not only the large packaged titles that are available to the masses but also all the promos and small things that make keeping things tidy easier and to prevent buying something you already own. Over the course of me using this app I have come to want a couple other features. One would be the ability to pull the data for board game accessories that are not considered games or expansions. The other would be a cloud sync options that I can sync between my devices so I have access to my custom lists I have created within the app. Also if you are an rpg player it would be cool if you took this same concept and applied it to the RPG Geek side so people could track plays, books, accessories etc just like in board game bible. I absolutely love this app and will continue to use it for all my Board game database tracking needs. Keep up the hard work. Thank you for you skills and passion to give this app life.

Could be good but sadly is not

This app seems to have minimal effort ,If any, put into it. You can log your plays but it will mess the stats up, your number of plays up, or just show how many plays you have with no stats. I spend time logging plays only to look at them later and realize it’s either erased the data or messed it up. It counts games in your collection randomly as “expansions” which are base games. If you ever want to edit a Game you just logged because you accidentally put something in wrong it won’t let you (not that it’ll save the data properly long term anyway). This app has so much potential but is a mess. The developers clearly put no time or effort into making this app more than something that shows your collection and it doesn’t even do that well. Hopefully they will fix these issues but they seem pretty hands off so I wouldn’t hold my breath.

Probably the best BGG app on iOS, but still missing key features.

I like this app a lot but there are a few key features that I really think are missing. First of all I can’t seem to find any way to rate games in my collection. You can see my BGG rating but there doesn’t seem to be a way to add or change one within the app. Secondly and most importantly to me, in other apps there is a way to look at the player count rating in detail. Seeing bars representing the “recommend” and “best” player counts for the game. Just seeing the single “best” number is not as helpful as you might think. Some games are rated to be best with two, even though they are also considered to be really great with five or six. Like “Letters from Whitechapel” for example. They came please best with two, it’s almost as good at three, but it’s also great with six because each player gets to control one pawn. I use that information every single day when I am choosing which games to bring to a game night. How many players we have is the single most important deciding factor.

Smooth and easy

Very easy to use. Only have had it for a couple of days and already feel like I’ve been using it tor a while. My only complaint is that I wish when I search for a game it would artfully a few choices. Other than that it’s great.

Great App

Great way to track games and plays. Was looking for something that integrated with BGG.One star removed for a couple small issues (and clarity)* Password field for BGG doesn’t support all characters BGG allows in its password. Literally couldn’t type the characters so had to change my BGG password to use sync.* Unclear that “Add To Collection” included other options than adding to games you own until actually clicked. I was initially browsing app before I discovered password issue and adding stuff to a manually created wishlist instead of using built in wishlist as I thought add to would only add to “my collection”.* Speaking of that manually built list.... unclear if there is anyway to delete a list you aren’t using anymore.

Great app! Use daily!

I love this app and use it to keep track of my game collection. It is also makes it easy to find the best games when playing with a particular number of players. Keep up the great work!Wish list of future features:1)Auto update current BGG stats (rank, ratings, number of user ratings, etc) for all games in collection when syncing (have to update per game now)2)add Filter by game mechanic and designer

Amazing BGG app

DEVELOPER, PLEASE READ:Love, love, love this app. However, when shopping for games my fiancé and I have to know the best player counts for games since we mostly play with 2 but do have occasional game nights (so we need the game to be recommended with 2 and up). This app does show the “best at” number, but you can’t see anymore detail past that. So if a game is best at 3, you can’t see if it’s also recommended at 2, for example. This makes it so that we have to keep opening up the BGG website to look at those stats. If this is a easy addition that can be made to this app, I think it would be VERY welcomed.

Not a Smartphone App

This App is just a basic reference to the BGG website account and can not be used as individual App. To make any modifications to your references you must link it to (or create if you don’t already have) your BGG account online. You have to populate and update your lists through the website. There is no ability to create a reference to a board game that you just played with your friends, or at a convention or a game you browsed at a store. A quick easy scan to “want to buy” or “have played” list is not available, rendering this app useless for any convenient use. It also does not add anything to the BGG site that you already using (or will have to use) without the app.

Really great app! A must have for any board gamer!

This is a great app. It’s my go to app. The only reason I give it a 4 star review is the randomizing button only works on the lists you create. I want to randomly pick a game to play from my entire library but can’t. If that were fixed I would and will change my rating to a 5 star review. Still a great app! Must buy!

Almost perfect

I use this app for recording game scores all the time. So much easier than going to the BGG site on my phone. But, it would be nice if I could also rate games and write reviews from the app. One bug that I took 1 star off for is that if you accidentally add a player’s name twice or it imported the name twice from BGG, you are stuck with 2 Jonathan’s or 2 David’s forever. There is no way to delete the duplicate name from your players list.
