BRAVO!

What a rollercoaster this series was! Do not pass it up. I see people saying they started with this game to see if they want to play the whole series. Don't. Start from the beginning. Part of the fun is watching the graphics and voice acting get tighter and tighter through the series. Did not want this series to end, can't wait for more Wadjet Eye ports.

Keeps Getting Better

Played this on a PC but had to have this on my iPad mini. Have been a fan of this series from the start, and this latest episode (final?) does not disappoint. No problems so far with gameplay, and the music is so very atmospheric (jazz) for the setting and game era. The intimacy of the touchpad over the mouse adds to the feeling of immersion in the story. Puzzles are logical and the player isn't bogged down with countless inventory items at once.Player gets to be two characters of the duo and it's cool figuring out which character will be needed (but for long-time series fans, choosing won't be that difficult, lol).Looking forward to the next Wadget Eye Games creation--hope it's another mystery.

Thankful for these on mobile

I'm so glad they ported these to iOS so more people can experience them. These are intriguing and emotional games. Incredible stories, solid acting, and fun to puzzle through. <3 so sad the series is over but the end was perfect.

Terrifically robust and engaging

The entire Blackwell series is highly recommended. They are approachable adventures that will test you but won't frustrate. The story is the star of this series. Dave Gilbert's tale is worth the very small admission price. High praise, too, for the voice actors. The commentary option offers a fun opportunity to replay the episode.

Amazing ending

Everything about the Blackwell series was perfect. I can honestly say I've never been so into a storyline and so attached to any characters as much as I am with this series. Was on an emotional roller coaster ride with these. Thank you for providing us gamers with something so solid. Hope Shardlight (or some of your other awesome games) is one day added to your library on here!

Absolutely stunning

I am sad that this is the conclusion; this is truly one of the best series of games that I have ever played. This game took hours to complete, had a compelling storyline, and moderately complex puzzles without a hint system (aside from the natural "plan next move" conversation option perhaps). I am looking forward to playing other games by Wadjet Eye Games. I can not fathom how much time and energy producing a game of this magnitude must take, but I appreciate its existence.

A solid and moving final chapter

I just finished the Blackwell series, and man does it go out on a strong note. All of the previous games had good voice work and challenging puzzles, but this final chapter had such a tense, gripping plot and some plot twists that will make you jump out of your seat! And the final act will leave you speechless, maybe even a little teary-eyed. The only thing I have negative to say about it is that the side plot in the middle of the game was a bit laborious, and pulled you out of the pace that the main storyline was doing so well to set up. A game series worth every penny!

A well deserved series!

Been waiting a long time for this final game to release for the ios. I'm just sad to see it end 😢. Has been by far one of my favorite series for the ios. Good story, good everything! Thank you for the great game and will be playing more of Wadjet Eye Games!

Near perfect game.

Bought all of these and they sucked me in. I loved playing them and I’m sad it’s over. If you like point and clicks you will love these.I’d love to see some more Blackwell games, maybe a few prequels or sequels.

Great conclusion to the series

Play the game, in order, from the first one. All the references throughout the game will make more sense, but your enjoyment of this final one will be fuller. The first game had some awkward gameplay and was short - but the story underpinning the entire series is well written and somewhat introspective. This last game was the best of the series. When Lia’s storyline unfolded I was impressed that the game went in that direction - this wasn’t going to be some quirky rinky-dink yarn. I liked the game’s conclusion as well. Very fitting.

Description

A dead man's soul cries out against the force of a ferocious blizzard. He cries for help. He cries for answers.

Then he screams as he is torn apart like damp tissue paper. This wasn't the first time, and it won't be the last. The police are powerless to stop it, so the duty falls to the only ones who can. What force could be so powerful – and so malevolent – that it would destroy the very core of a life in order to get what it wants? Rosa Blackwell and Joey Mallone mean to find out, even if it means risking themselves in the process. The thrilling final game in the Blackwell series - "Blackwell 1: Legacy," "Blackwell 2: Unbound," "Blackwell 3: Convergence," and "Blackwell 4: Deception." Rock Paper Shotgun - "It's pretty much the perfect ending, both wrapping up and nailing a series that's been going from strength to strength since it first appeared way back in 2006." PC Gamer - "The high-point of a consistently strong series, and a great showcase of adventure game design that fits the story's theme." [82%] Gazebo - "The Blackwell Epiphany powerfully and poetically concludes a game series which has lasted nearly a decade." [4/5] Indiegames.com - "It nails the tone, raises the stakes, brilliantly concludes the over-arching story and looks better than ever." RPGFan - "I'm delighted that the final game in the series capitalizes on all that came before and delivers a solid, satisfying ending." [85%]
