Meh
I didn’t imagine when I downloaded this app that I would be bombarded with so many “alerts”. I suppose it’s good that you tell me 14 times in a single day that it is going to be colder in a few days, but you could probably take care of it with 1. Unless you are paying a junior meteorologist by the number of alerts they send in a day.
Ads that force restart
I really appreciate this app and the valuable weather forecasts and updates. However, I have to dock its rating because there are really poor ad formatting choices. The ads pop up and the close ‘x’ is extremely tiny, typically in the upper left corner of the screen, and completely unselectable. The only way to continue to use the weather app is to hard close and restart. I don’t mind watching or interacting with ads, but I will blame WOWT for not enforcing good behavior by its ad partners.
Stop with the full page ads!!
That last update was BS.. Doesn’t matter what o click on radar then to hourly then to forecast all full page pop ads!!! WOWT just keep craping on you you locals with this app... the small ads I am ok with but this pop up has to stop
Lightning alerts
I don’t want lightning alerts. Wakes me up for nothing at 12:33AM can’t go back to sleep. Then work an 11 hour day not happy.
Review
Like the app can’t figure out how to get Davenport Iowa’s sky cams. I keep getting Nebraska???
Stupid adds
Can hardly look at the app without a pop-up add showing up and then it won’t let you close it until after an elapsed time. Not very convenient and definitely not “on your side”.
Weather app
The app needs to prioritize the alerts from most recent to oldest. In severe weather who has time to look at all alerts to find out whats going on. Thanks Rich
Pop up ads and can’t close
This was my favorite weather app until pop up ads started taking over with no way to close. Deleting it and trying channel 7.
Commercials and bad weather
When there it is an emergency alert why do we see advertisements first before the severe weather. Seconds count. Remove the commercials during severe weather
Disappointed
News app forces you into weather app, which. I’ve now added and deleted twice. Last time was for too many ads. This time, videos fail to play. Wish weather forecast was still available in the new app.
