The ads are absolutely terrible. I press the screen it’s ad after ad. Also a lot of these recipes are SUPPOSED to be diabetic meals but it’s including ingredients we should have. And every serving size is 8-10. This app is dumb. Deleting and do your self a favor and don’t bother downloading
As a type 1 diabetic these recipes save the hassle of high blood sugar and are very delicious. My only complaint is the ads but other than that it is a very useful tool.
This app would have been helpful if notFor the following: There are “commercials” with every single click you make - it’s really, really, REALLY annoying. There are maybe 10-15 recipes free and all the rest are LOCKED until you pay $. No thanks. Deleting this now.
So I was excited to use these recipes having been newly diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes. They look amazing. However, so many of the recipes on there for diabetics have foods we are not supposed to eat. And I know I could easily substitute white rice for brown rice and just not eat white potatoes. But if you’re going to advertise this as diabetic recipes, then why include the things we aren’t supposed to have?
I would love to tell you my experience with the app. But I can’t. I just downloaded the free version and was immediately met with an ad. Then I clicked on the recipe button and was met with an ad. I scrolled down and was met with another ad. Once the fifth ad popped up I was done. Maybe it’s a great app but I can’t tell because of all the ads. This is the worst experience to even try out some thing. Please remove the wave of ads so that I can actually see the app to decide to even keep it. I see you have a pro version. But I can’t even get through the free version to see if I like it.
TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY!!! Every time I try to type in the search bar, no recipes found, and the only recipes I can access are the 30 or so on the opening page. There are no chapters. It’s not a recipe book. Better off searching on Pinterest. It’s free, and to search, for example recipes with chicken, Pinterest gives you lots of options and not “no recipes available”
I purchased the pro version to get rid of the ads. Don’t waste your money. I still get ads, I just get the ability to close them after 5 seconds. You know they’re going to be closed if someone pays to upgrade, so why bother to launch one.
I was so happy to find this app! I am participating in a diabetes prevention program and this app is my addiction that I needed! Now I can plan meals for myself and family that we all can enjoy and prevent me from getting diabetes at the same time 😃
I wish I could like this but it took me all of a half day of trying to use it when I had to delete it completely. Every time you open the app, it asks you to rate it. Every time. If I say no thanks, not remind me later. It asks me every time. Painful. Then it has non-stop pop up ads whenever you get to the recipes page. Super annoying! Finally the recipes page is a disaster trying to find recipes and know what they are. The design and overall CX of this app is awful. It’s too bad bc this is a big and important market.
I just downloaded this app and haven’t even gotten a chance to explore it and it’s already wanting me to review it, I tried dismissing it but it came right back! Frustrating!
